How much do the images cost? Cost is dependent on usage. We have a price index which is based on such factors as what it will be used for, where it will be used (e.g. front cover or inside), the size it will be reproduced at, the print run and the distribution of the publication. This will be discussed prior to purchase of an image.

Do I have to pay for using the same image again? If you wish to repeat the same image within the same publication a repeat fee can be negotiated. Similarly if you wish to repeat the same image over a series of issues then again we can negotiate a suitable fee.

Do you sell Royalty Free images? No, our images are all Rights Managed for single first time usage.

Do you sell outside the UK? Yes, we sell to clients all over the world. The Pulse Picture Library collection reflects General Practitioners at work here in the UK and their environment is unique to this country. However the generic medical images and examination techniques are applicable world-wide.Our collections are additionally represented in Europe by Paris based BSIP and the rest of the world outside Europe (and including the UK) by New York based Phototake USA.

Can we get discounts? For those customers who use the libraries regularly discounts are negotiable as when clients wish to make a multiple order for a single publication.

Can you download images directly from the web site? There is a facility to download image files direct from the website for approved account holders, but you can also set up lightboxes and order images directly from the site .

How quickly can you deliver images? We can email high resolution images to you, or preview images for lay out purposes, in a matter of minutes once we have all your details.

Can photographers or specialists in either subject submit images to be included in the collections? We would welcome potential contributors who should approach Ravi Naidoo at Pulse Picture Library for more information on how to submit work.

Do you sell your pictures to any sector? You will always be asked how you intend to use the images when you place an order. Some restrictions are in place with the Pulse Picture Library collection – these can be reviewed on our terms and conditions page.
